OUR CONCLUSIONS

It has been impossible to interview Antonio Roldán Bazán for personal reasons of our narrator, but we have contacted with his daughter, María Inmaculada Concepción Roldán, who witnessed firsthand of the story of his father. Although we thought it would be a hindrance not being able to contact with Mr. Roland, his daughter has answered all the questions, perhaps with less detail, but she has enabled us to get an idea of what her father really lived at having to emigrate.

After making the interview we could conclude that between the economy of Spain and Germany have always been big differences, being the superior German. This has been confirmed by the experience of María Inmaculada, who lived in Spain until 9 years when he went to Germany, returning to Spain after 35 years approximately and due to the crisis that attacks our country today, a year ago returned to Germany.

Germany was a highly developed country in the 70s, and many spanish emigrated to find work, it is more, spanish companies sent their workers to Germany, as in Andalusia's economy was based on agriculture and due to the huge crisis, the few industries that they had could not keep their workers. In conclusion, through agreements signed between spanish and german companies, Mr. Roland and many more people went to work in Germany. The same company got him a place to live (a room in exchange for a minimum rental). There, he lived for six years, sending most of his salary to his family, with whom he had contact once a year at most.
